Podcast Pet Peeve
I have yet another pet peeve.
How come shows that are designed to be downloaded all over the world, think they have the luxury to add intro and outro music? Not just simple tones or jingles - no, we are talking about elaborate intro music which seems to go on forever.
This simply adds several minutes to the podcast and makes for a longer download.
Take a look at these perps:
Inside the Net - 47 seconds intro, 15 seconds outro.
Diggnation - 48 seconds intro, 48 seconds outro.

I found some french teaching podcasts which is great being able to brush up on my school french. The problem is that they put this horrible old french music for the intro, outro and everytime there is a break! Tres annoyingable!
