Answers with BC

Answers with Bayless Conley Podcast. Each week BC speaks to millions of people all over the world through his radio and video broadcasts but now he has added the podcast option to his arsenal. Who is BC? He is a pretty cool guy, passionate, energetic and speaks with streetsmarts. He is certainly not your normal preacher IMO and for those who wonder about god or just need some inspiration, energy or life advice then this podcast is a great choice. I am not a religious person but this guy can certainly inspire me. The podcasts are varied and sometimes he is focues on the holy book and sometimes he is more focused on everyday issues and speaking from his own experience prior to becoming a believer.

I don´t really like the idea of somebody else telling me how to live my life.
Looking at his bio - he has no particular education nor any particular life experience - how is he qualified to advice others?

In reference to Steinar´s comment about BC being a millionaire - I have no idea about that but BC's website of course has a "donation" button.

Qualified to advice others? Funny. Do you need a specific education to give advice???

Well, yeah.
If you put yourself out there as some kind of authority of what is the right thing to do - you are assuming some kind of responsibility. And I simply wanted to know, how qualified is he in taking on that responsibility?

We are giving advice every single day to other people, like our children, friends etc. and how qualified are we? If giving advice was limited to some bookworms with college degrees then I think the world would be in deep shit.

If you can´t see the difference in offering advice to your close ones and offering advice to the multitudes under guise of spiritual leadership (and then asking for donations for the trouble) then you simply have a very trusting outlook on life.
If you are offering your services to the masses - you better have something tangible to offer.
